Hello everybody and welcome to my blog

In this blog I will be telling you guys what SRG and I have been doing. We have done lots of stuff on FRACTIONS like a fraction wall which are brick walls that tell you equivelent fractions like one half is two quarters, two halves is four quarters etc. In writing we’ve been doing summarising. Also for inquiry all of the grade fives are doing Australian Culture. SRG has been reading a book called Refugee it has been getting very interesting.

One thing I would like to say is I’m MOVING!! My family is buying a house and my Pop is also moving in with us. I am so excited to be moving it’s a SIX bedroom house with a big backyard we are moving in about two weeks so I am really EXCITED!!!

On the 25th of June grade 5 students made two projects, one had to be written like a slideshow, diorama and some other things and a creative one like a dance, podcast, movie and much more. I created a podcast for my creative and a brochure for my written. The expo was really fun and I would love to do it again.

Today I am blogging about what I have been up to since I last blogged. Since I last blogged I have been up to a lot of stuff like camp. Camp was really FANTASTICALLY AWESOME. We did things like climb rocks near a waterfall, have our camp disco, camp activities, scary stories around the fire, we all went to a went to a spa and loads more activities that you can see on the Bourchier Street twitter page. After camp I came back to school to meet my parents.

When I got home I started packing for Melbourne. My Mum, Nan and I were going to stay with my aunt for a one night.  When we got to Melbourne I started to get excited for Dirty Dancing which is a movie but I was seeing it live (that means it was acted out). The after Dirty Dancing mt Mum, Nan and I went shopping. I bought  cookie scented pencils and a really cool crayon set.When we got home I couldn’t wait for Easter. On Easter I got tons of chocolate and I also got a really big set of minecraft lego and a really cool onesie.

School. School is really good so far. In maths SRG have been learning about perspective. In writing we have been working on persuasive writing, and in reading we have been learning to paraphrase. We also done the Fun Run which was super fun.

Hi there today i am blogging about camp. I am really excited to be able to go. Of what I have heard it is really fun in Angahook Camp. I have heard about the really big swing where the class pushes you up and you tell them when to stop then someone pulls a rope and you fly!!!! (no not really you just swing really high.) I am also looking forward to surfing, eating and all the other fun activities that we are doing at camp. I am super excited for this camp because of cabins and I can’t wait until I see what my cabin looks like. Hopefully I get at least one person I want in my cabin. I can not wait to pack also can not wait to preform in the Angahook Camp DISCO. I am so excited for camp.

From the 16th to the 20th of February SRG have been having swimming lessons. my swimming teacher/instructor’s name was Pete or Peter. We learnt to do backstroke, freestyle, skulking and pool safety. On the 19th my group done rescue and safety were we learnt what and what not to do when someone is drowning.
